Ormonde Cinema Stillorgan

Reel Parents"

Movies for Moms ‘n’ Dads with Babs!

Missed out on the latest blockbuster again? No babysitter? Worry no more.

A number of cinemas nationwide are launching “Reel Parents”, an opportunity for moms/dads/grandparents/minders to catch the latest movie releases with baby.

Please note these performances are targeted at Parents with infants. A programme for Parents with crawlers/ toddlers is being devised and your feedback is appreciated.

Come along to a place where its OK for babies to sleep, feed & cry, where its OK for moms to feed & change baby without the glaring eyes of others. Just leave your stroller at the door and come along and share this millenium movie experience with like-minded folk.

Baby changing facilities & coffee on site.

Shows start @ 10am on the last Thursday of the month or when advertised.

Some Comments From Previous Visitors to Reel Parents:

Hi. I just wanted to take the time to congratulate you on your excellant idea of reel parents. I went to see The Terminal with my 8week old son yesterday.

I dont think I have ever enjoyed the cinema so much. It was really great.

The last time I was in the Ormonde Stillorgan Back To The Future was just out on release. Every single member of staff showed exceptional customer service.

I wasnt sure if I was going to go but I am certainly glad that I did and will go next month for sure. I just wish that more cinemas took on the idea and that it was weekly instead of monthly, oh and that there were more baby changing facilities!

Yours faithfully

Hi.

Just returned from a fabulous morning outing with my 8 month DS to the cinema this morning and want to tell you all about it.

I am a great cinema fan and loved the idea of getting the odd chance to go with DS. wish it was on more often. my DS got on fine and there were several around his age and a bit older. Lovely tea, coffee or water and bikkies beforehand and staff were very helpful. The babies were all great inside the cinema and despite having to do a nappy change and feed DS I had a very relaxing morning and felt really refreshed afterwards (beats another walk to the village or the park).
