SWITCH
The exciting female group SWITCH launched their debut album titled In'shallah on Friday June 21st.
The 13 track album reflects the incredible talent of SWITCH memebers Joanne Coughlan, Catherine Foley and Denise Goggin who composed all the tracks and who also play their own instruments.
The West Cork trio enjoyed huge success last year releasing two singles, "Close My Eyes" and "Hush" which charted at No. 10 and No. 3 respectively. Together with their new backing band, SWITCH, plan an Irish tour in July to promote the album, kicking off in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney on Sunday 7th July where they will support Elton John in his only Irish concert.
With their album release and their date with Elton John, one of the world's greatest megastars, the future for SWITCH looks very bright indeed.
WHAT THE CRITICS SAY:
"In a world ridden with manufactured pop bands, it's reassuring to learn you can still make it on honest talent." - Tony Clayton Lea, U Magazine & Irish Times.
"They've already been labelled the next Corrs. The bubbly West Cork trio are being tipped by music insiders as the next big thing" - Richie Taylor, The Sun.
"I guarantee you'll be hearing alot more about this band, SWITCH" - Pat Kenny on The Late Late Show.
"The three songs here show a genuine flair for classy, emotive balladry and are substantially superior to anything The Corrs are likely to produce." - Hot Press Review of the single "Hush".
